ita Inclinata Technologies and United Rotorcraft, a division of Air Methods are investigating a partnership to manufacture Vita’s Rescue System for both military and civilian users. United Rotorcraft is a provider of FIREHAWK® helicopter modifications and US Military MEDEVAC helicopter cabin modifications, while Vita’s Rescue System stabilizes load-swing and spin in seconds to protect both rescuers and rescuees — a natural fit.
Both companies are based in Colorado, and see the partnership as another step in putting Colorado at the center of rotorwing innovation.

United Rotorcraft specializes in the design, manufacture and support of mission critical equipment and products for EMS, Medevac, firefighting, law enforcement and other aerospace applications. The company has been the exclusive supplier of HH-60M and UH-60L MEDEVAC interiors to the U.S. Army for over 20 years. Additionally, United Rotorcraft has vast expertise on Patient Litter Lift Systems, modularity, crashworthy ambulatory patient/troop seats, oxygen generation systems, and more, for military and commercial aircraft alike.

Vita’s Rescue System, which has been certified safe-to-fly by the US Army Aeromedical Research Laboratory (USAARL), provides platform- and litter-agnostic control to stabilize swing, oscillation and spin under any rotorcraft. Sensors and proprietary software compute 100 times per second to dynamically stop chaotic movement, while a wireless remote allows precision and control, providing operators the ability to steer around obstacles and align to the aircraft for recoveries.

As Vita continues to grow and the Vita Rescue System gains more popularity in the MEDEVAC communities, manufacturing space becomes a priority. United Rotorcraft’s manufacturing sector operates in over 140,000 square feet of production and completion facilities in Colorado and Texas.

On the Vita’ front: “We are honored and humbled to work with an organization of United Rotorcraft’s caliber,” said Caleb Carr, Vita Inclinata CEO and Co-Founder. “We believe this further aligns our missions to make all helicopter rescues safer, faster, more precise and more efficient, both for Search and Rescue personnel and patients.
